Everyone loves to get in the festive spirit at this time of year; hanging home made, DIY decorations, listening to the classic Christmas tunes whilst dancing around, wrapping presents for friends and loved ones and talking about the main thing - the food you will be eating on the big day!
And what better way to enjoy your meal than to be able to consume it surrounded by the most beautiful decorations; let us take you through our favourite Festive Table Inspirations to get your creative juices flowing...
First things first... Before you begin designing your festive table setup, you need to decide on a colour theme for your meal. You can stick with the traditional green and red or branch out and mix things up with something a little more out there.
We love the idea of adding a touch of nature into your festive table decor by adding natural foliage to add colour, texture and freshness. A great way to do this is with ferns or holly.

To add an element of opulence to your design, we recommend bringing gold into the equation. This can be done trough your cutlery, table mats, candlesticks or table ornaments.
To create a beautiful atmosphere full of warmth and cosiness, placing candles strategically around your table will give the desired effect.
You can do this with candle holders and tall candles, tea lights or by adding scented candles in a jar.
If you want to create the same effect without using fire (especially if you have lots of little ones around) you can create the same effect with a garland of lights like our beautiful diamond fairy lights.
When you have chosen bold accessories for your table decoration, why not try to keep things a bit more simple with your place mats and coasters; neutral, simple, chic and elegant.
For the finishing touches you can place your beautiful crackers on the table along with any name-plates, so your guests know where they are seated, to finish off your beautiful festive look.
