Taste is certainly a personal preference; one person will look at something and see beauty, depth and inspiration, whereas another person can look at that same thing and see it as bland, boring or gore!

In our opinion they are decor disasters and we are left asking 'what were they thinking?' (And in some cases, we do have to questions the qualifications of the decorating team!)
We thought we would ease you into this blog post gently with this first image...
Now, we love decor coordination as much as the next person, but is matching your sofa to your wallpaper taking things a bit to far?
We do appreciate the colour theme running through this room, but the camouflaged sofa was just too much!
We're not sure where to begin with this next image!
Covering the stairs with shag-pile carpet wouldn't be the first idea that springs to mind when we want to decorate our hallway.
And the mix of yellow and brown is a little too garish for our taste!

If you haven't spotted it yet, take a closer look at the shower; it has been installed upside down.
The moment you buy some nice lettering for your kitchen and after you put it up you realise it now spells 'FAT'!

This next one is slightly creepy.
It may have seemed a good idea at the time to reuse your jeans like this, but I'm sure that was followed by regret once completed!

We really aren't sure what they were thinking when they designed and put this one together.
Doubling as a wine rack is rather useful though!
Where does the sofa end and the carpet begin?
All we can hope is that this is a rather old image and that the owners have since updated their decor.
We wanted to end with this lovely image.
At first glance it looks like a wonderful space for relaxing and entertaining, until you want to open your kitchen cupboards and drawers and you realise they are inaccessible!
